Twentse Welle is a new museum in Enschede, it opened doors in april 2008 and is housed is a former textile factory. A mix of the original structure and new architecture give the museum its unique atmosphere.Three organizations are brought together in the museum: Van Deinse Instituut , Museum Jannink and Natuurmuseum Enschede. Together they want to tell the story of the human adventure, the history of nature and exploration of earth. It is told from a regional point of view.Visitors not only learn by seeing and looking and the exhibitions. They are invited to cooperate in the interactive setting of the TwentseWelle museum.
