Concordia is a theater located at the 'Oude Markt', the main square in the city. There are two filmhalls (50 and 92 seats) and a theater with 160 seats.Most films are arthouse movies and documentaires. Frequently films are introduced by a lecture.
Movie goers have in Enschede serveral opportunities to watch a film. The mupliplex cinema at the Go Planet Parc has 10 halls and shows all the popular blockbusters. The cozy Concordia in the innercity has a focus on international and arthouse films. Like everywhere in The Netherlands, films are shown in original audio with subtitles. Except for kidsmovies, they often have an additional dubbed version.
