Muziekkwartier
Muziekkwartier, open fall 2008, is a cooperation between six organizations Nationale Reisopera, het Orkest van het Oosten, Poppodium Atak, Podium Twente, ArtEZ Conservatorium en De Muziekschool Twente. The Muziekkwartier houses two halls for all kind of popmusic. It offers live-bands and djs in very divers genres as rock, house, oriental, drum n bass, reggae or singer-songwriter. There is a cafe for smaller performances and a dozen practice places are in the building. The big theater hall is used for concerts, theater, musical or opera and has a 1000 seat capacity.
Artists from all over the world come to Enschede. Rock bands, classical ensambles or popular djs can be found seen on one of the well-known venues. You'll be touched or entertained by opera and theater or just be surprised by one of the many other performances Enschede has for you. For those who have the energy to dance into the night, enschede has some swinging discos.
