Long Distance bus

German based company Flixbus maintains an Europe wide network of busconnections. In Enschede it has two busstops, at the Central Station and at the University. Comfortable coaches have direct connections to large cities such as Brussel, Paris, Berlin, Leipzig and Prague. Other towns and countries all over europe are in reach with just one transfer.

The bus services can also be used in Holland as an alternative to the railway. It is however limited to some cities as Groningen, Nijmegen and Eindhoven.

it's possible to use the buses of the several operators in the Netherlands to get around. But in general that's a pain in the ass on longer distances.
